Campaigns - boycott to minute's silence

Since forming, as a proactive collection of Hillsborough families, survivors and supporters in Feb 1998, the Campaign has struggled to bring Hillsborough and the continued lack of justice back into the public domain on many occassions.

Boycott The Sun in 2003

Boycott of The Sun - poster displayed in newsgaents windows

April 15th 2003 saw the boycott of the S*n go national, with many newsagents from all over the country requested to not sell the S*n on that day. Although official figures are not available it is understood that the boycott was successful. On the anniversary of the disaster The Guardian on-line produced an excellent eight pages of coverage, from poetry, to the S*n, to the fight for Justice, and big thank you must go out to John MacLeary for the work that he put in on that.
